Is the hemp plant marijuana?
Hemp and "Marijuana" are two different varieties of Cannabis sativa (or Cannabis indica or, less commonly, Cannabis ruderalis), a flowering herb indigenous to many parts of the world. “Marijuana” (actually Cannabis) is traditionally cultivated for high levels of THC, which is concentrated mostly in the flowers and trichomes of the plant.
Industrial hemp, however, is cultivated for its fiber, and has almost undetectable levels of THC and comparatively higher levels of CBD. Hemp has been grown and cultivated worldwide for thousands of years for industrial and medical purposes, making useful items like rope, clothing, sails, paper, and thousands of other products.All of our products are derived from hemp and will not get you “high.”
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is one of science’s most exciting discoveries.The ECS regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping, certain inflammation responses and even cognitive function. There are two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body (CB1 and CB2), but they are most abundant in the brain and immune system respectively. In a nutshell, your ECS is responsible for making sure your entire body is working optimally—no small task!
Is there any THC in your Hemp Products?
No, all of our Hemp products are under the Federal Threshold of 0.3% THC. Tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as THC, is the cannabinoid that gets you “high” or “stoned.” Naturally occurring compounds found in the HEMP plant are non-psychoactive. You will never fail a drug test from Hemp Isolate or hemp compounds that do not contain THC. All of our products are tested by third party laboratories and guaranteed to be legally considered as THC free!
Why do you use Hemp?
Industrial hemp is already rich in beneficial compounds and naturally low in THC, whereas most other Cannabis plants(aka "Marijuana") is just the opposite (high THC) THC products are illegal in the State of Texas but Industrial Hemp is 50 State legal. What are the compounds in Hemp Extract?
There are numerous compounds that are found naturally in the Hemp Plant. One of the most studied is CBD, which stands for cannabidiol, the most prominent naturally-occurring component found in Hemp that comprises up to 40% of the plant. According to the US Government, cannabidiol is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect. ” After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.
